ID : 4150
« back to classes page
This basic self-defense course for women begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. Rape Aggression Defense System (RAD) is not a Martial Arts program. It is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. These physical defensive techniques are specifically designed for women who are willing to consider defense, as a viable option, in situations where their life is in jeopardy.

The RAD system of physical defense is currently being taught at many universities and colleges. The wide spread acceptance of this system is primarily due to the ease, simplicity, and effectiveness of our tactics, solid research, legal defensibility and unique teaching methodology.

This course will meet for 5 wks on Wednesdays, January 23rd, 30th, February 6th, 13th & 20th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in McKenny Hall.

Upon the completion of this course you will be certified in RAD Systems and will qualify for a lifetime return to practice at no additional cost.
