Course Description
This four-hour seminar is intended for employers and employees who have familiarity with excavation hazards and the previous MIOSHA Part 9 requirements. The program will cover:
  • Revised definitions
  • Competent person role
  • Structural ramps
  • Registered Professional Engineer role
  • Excavations deeper than 20 feet design requirements
  • Qualified person role
  • Adjacent structures
  • Part 9 Table 1 Soils Classification review
  • Review quiz

Prerequisites: None

Who Should Attend this Course?
It is intended for employers and employees who have familiarity with excavation hazards and the previous MIOSHA Part 9 requirements.
