The often ongoing roles, responsibilities, and demands common in these professions can result in compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, burnout, and exhaustion. This training will provide a framework to understand compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. In addition, the risk factors associated with burnout and strategies to support one’s overall health and well-being will be discussed.
