The virtual course will consist of live-online Zoom sessions, as well as pre and post session activities in Canvas, our online learning management system. Participation in this virtual OSHA numbered course is limited to participants working or living within the Great Lakes Region 5 (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota). A federal, state, or local government issued photo ID (present at check-in on the first day of class). Participants will need to attend the course from either a home or office on a computer or laptop equipped with a Webcam and Microphone. You must attend 100% of all Zoom sessions and complete all required online course assignments in order to receive an electronic certificate of completion and CEUs. Students will need to keep their Video On throughout the class to confirm attendance and participation in the course. Attending the course on an I-Phone, tablet or iPad is not allowed. You will need to have a stable Internet connection, and use either Chrome, Firefox or Safari as your browser for compatibility with Canvas. Use of multiple devices, taking photos or recording any part of the training sessions is not allowed. Participants will need to attend a short orientation session prior to the start of the course. During this time, we’ll ensure that your laptop or computer, webcam and audio are functioning properly. We’ll also introduce you to Canvas and explain how to navigate and find all required training materials and coursework assignments.
