Course Description
Strengthen your ability to market ideas, influence stakeholders, and communicate value. Explore marketing strategies, branding, sales fundamentals, customer engagement, and professional networking. Learn how these concepts apply to talent acquisition, employer branding, employee engagement, and communicating the value of HR initiatives. Participants will also receive a personalized LinkedIn profile review with recommendations to enhance their professional presence.

Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Explain foundational marketing, branding, and sales principles.
  • Identify target audiences and develop strategies to communicate value.
  • Apply marketing techniques to recruitment, employer branding, and HR initiatives.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, relationship-building, and influence strategies.
  • Evaluate and strengthen their professional brand and LinkedIn presence.
  • Develop practical approaches to promoting ideas, programs, and organizational initiatives.

Course Schedule
  • Monday, March 22: Virtual kickoff, 6–7 p.m. via Zoom
  • Between sessions: Personalized LinkedIn profile review and recommendations
  • Friday, April 9: In-person boot camp, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • Friday, April 23: Final assignment due

Special Feature: Individual LinkedIn profile assessment with actionable recommendations.
